The Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SLECIC) has extended its support to local exporter, M/S Alpex Marine (Pvt) Ltd, by settling a 30 million claim after a protracted default by a buyer in the UAE. This key milestone was celebrated with the handover of the cheque by Prof. Aruna Shantharachchi, Chairman & Managing Director of SLECIC, to Mr. Rashmika De Silva, Accountant of Alpex Marine (Pvt) Ltd.

The event was also attended by key SLECIC officials, including DGM-Operations, AGM-Marketing, AGM-Finance, AGM-Operations, and AGM-Claims & Recoveries.
