SLECIC and Pan Asia Bank recently engaged in a productive discussion aimed at driving growth in Sri Lanka’s export sector. The meeting highlighted how SLECIC’s tailored solutions can empower Pan Asia Bank to strengthen its presence in the export market. Representing Pan Asia Bank were Mr. Naleen Edirisinghe, Director/CEO; Mr. Gayanath De Silva, Deputy General Manager – Credit; and Mr. Aravinda Rodrigo, Senior Manager. The SLECIC team was led by Chairman and Managing Director, Prof. Aruna Shanthaarachchi, joined by Acting General Manager, Mr. Yushan Tharanga Abeykoon; Assistant General Manager – Marketing, Ms. Shama Selvaratnam; Customer Relationship Team Leaders, Mr. Lakshman Jayaweera and Mrs. Nutan Thowfeek; and Customer Relationship Specialist, Ms. Oshani Pabasara. This strategic collaboration signifies a meaningful step forward in supporting both direct and indirect exporters across Sri Lanka.

SLECIC Pays Claim to M/S Edibles Exports Pvt Ltd

The Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SLECIC) has stepped in to support the local exporter, M/S Edibles Exports Pvt Ltd, by paying a claim following a default by a buyer in the United Arab Emirates. This significant event marked the handover of the cheque by Mr. Senerath Devendra, Chairman & Managing Director of SLECIC, to Mr. Uditha Pathiranagamage, the director of M/S Edibles Exports Pvt Ltd. Also present at the event were SLECIC officials including DGM - Operations, AGM - Marketing, AGM - Claims & Recoveries, and AGM – Finance. At SLECIC, we are dedicated to assisting Sri Lankan exporters and indirect exporters with reliable credit insurance solutions. By mitigating the risks associated with international trade, SLECIC will empower and protect Sri Lankan exporters, aligning with the government's policy of nurturing an export-oriented economy.
