At a pivotal stage where the Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SLECIC) is building on a strong foundation and embracing a renewed strategic direction, the Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Upeksha Subasinghe as its new General Manager.

Mr. Subasinghe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Human Resource Management, Administration, and Leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, from the University of Kelaniya and an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura (PIM). He has also completed a leadership program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, India.

With over a decade of experience in both local and international settings, he has held senior roles across Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, and Administration. His previous positions include leadership roles at the Open University of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board and leading private sector organizations, both locally as well as internationally.

As General Manager, Mr. Subasinghe is expected to drive innovation, agility, and strategic growth, further strengthening SLECIC’s role in supporting Sri Lanka’s export sector in an evolving global environment.
